The UNIVERGE MC550 application for iPhone provides a robust solution for maintaining communication with the workplace, effectively integrating voice and instant messaging tools into a single platform. Users can effortlessly locate colleagues or personal contacts, view their availability status, and initiate conversations with a simple tap.

This application facilitates personal status updates, along with access to missed calls and instant messages. It allows users to easily dial extensions, return calls, and send instant messages efficiently.

By utilizing a single number, the app empowers users to implement customizable contact rules, determining which callers can reach them while mobile and on which devices. These rules are informed by personal status, which can be synchronized with work calendars (such as Exchange). Users also have the option to redirect calls to internal numbers or external phones, employing configurations like multi-ring or "twinning" with their work phone or extension.

Note for administrators: This fixed mobile converged (FMC) solution is designed to leverage the enterprise voice infrastructure provided by UNIVERGE SV9500, SV9300, SV8500, or SV8300 communication platforms.
